I owned the original one during the 70's/80's built by R W Clarkson the I O W in1957. She was owned by Billy Brown the designer of the Ruffian 23 before he developed it.

Just wondering.
Every time I look at an vds design, I'm made aware of how far ahead of his time he was.

Yes, just the date. I just thought needed to be corrected. It was a fantastic boat. Even if a "little" wet. It had a perpex cabin roof at one stage and I believe a tiller inside, hence the seat positions in the cabin.
With such a huge resource as yours there are bound to be the occasional errors and I think this one was down to the information you had available.
My post was to provide you with some more accurate data no criticism of the site whatsoever. I think it's up to us all to make corrections where needed in order to make what is a fantastic resource, even better
