Does anyone have any idea what the Hull thickness  is on a Newport 33 ????     I am thinking I'm getting one possibly soon and I will be putting a transducer through the hull   I am hoping it will be the same as my Newport 30 which was almost 3 inches thick and solid fiberglass    can anybody shed any light on this subject  ?      Thanks Bruce

I heard that the 33 comes from the same mold as the 30. Of course this is no qaurantee that the thickness is the same. If it's a transducer for depth only, you don't even need to cut a hole.
