Hello everyone, I have been sailing last season with a couple of persistent leaks- so I puilled the boat out early to do some work :-
I found that the main hatch was leaking at the hatch plinth corners- which is jointed timber -so a new hatch plinth will have to be made.
Should I use thick marine ply?
Also the stern gear had loosened at the tube, where it threads onto the external cutlass bearing holder through the dead wood.
I have removed all (including engine)
What type of sealant should I bed it in as I assume it should be removable in the future?
