Boat Type: 1965 CAL 25 , hull # 26

« on: August 05, 2009, 05:51:15 pm »

I  purchased a 1965 CAL 25 , hull # 26 and I've just stood up the mast.   I'm trying to figure out the running rigging and boom support.  Can anyone help me?

You need to be a little more specific about what you're having trouble with.

I've stood up the mast and I'm trying to figure out how to support the aft of the boom. then I'll try to figure out the main sail support and rigging. Then on to the front sail for the same. I'm looking for some pictures of existing boats so as to compare the rigging and try to figure something out for my boat.

For now, take a look at this drawing.  It's for an Aquarius 23 (slightly smaller boat but a lot of the rigging should be the same.  on you boat you probably have 2 sets of lower shrouds instead of the one set on this boat.
