We suggest you make the following corrections on your information about the Mayflower 48.

The 42 hulls were built by May flower Yachts in Taiwan between 1980 and 1984. It took 7 months to build each yacht.

The company was not owned by a UK company. Three yachts were sent to the U. K. however.
Hull # 27 "Elegance" sold to John B. Hunter in Richmond Surry U. K.
Hull #6 was shipped to Halt Leisure Parks LTD. in the U. K.
Hull # 28 sold to Ken Graham from Noontide Marine Limited in Peter
Jersey, C. I. England

Most of the yachts were semi custom two or three cabin versions. George Stadel III supervised all construction to a very high standard. George Lim was the yard manager.
