This is an extremely rare boat designed by William Tripp Jr. It was built by Aeromarine Plastics sometime in the late 1950' or early 60's. In the photos, some of it's unique features can be seen. such as the sliding doghouse.
In an article by Ted Jones about the carreer of Tripp Jr., he mentions this boat and his belief that the only one that ever existed was the one that had been shipped to east coast. I think this is almost certainly wrong. It appears that at least a dozen had been built before the buyout.
I tried contacting a person who claimed to own one of these but never received a reply.
Just happened to stumble into these photo's. (It's along story). Very interesting and unique boat. Wish I had more information. Even just basic dimensions!
