from the transmission there is a shaft with 2 universal joints and that shaft connects to what appears to be a  bearing housing. That housing holds the forward end of the prop shaft and the bearing has started making noise and my assumption is that it needs to be replaced. I have made attempts to do that, however, they were unsuccessful. There is no manufacturer name on the housing. I'm trying to find out if there's a trick I need to know in order to remove the bearing or be able to open the front of the housing to get access to the bearing.
