Greetings fellow Bristol 40' sloop owners........

Our 1974 Bristol sailboat, No.# 28 was recently involved in a accident during transport and the bow pulpit was bent and ripped off the boat. We are having a new pulpit made in Michigan and need 2 missing measurements in order to have a new one constructed. In particular, we need 1. the distance from the apex of the bow pulpit down to the bow and 2. the width across from one lifeline eye to the other...

Any Bristol owners that may may be able to supply this information, would be greatly appreciated! Hopefully we'll be back in the water sailing soon........

Rb-

Shortly after registering for this forum I did place the same question on the Bristolowners site. I did locate owners of similar 40' Bristol boats and have received some help! Thanks for your suggestion.
