should be Rayner was the author of

Don't know if you'd like to have Rayner's first design on the site - he only built the one,

Good eye. Thanks for picking that up.  My bio for Denys Rayner is pretty weak. I just tried to summarize since many, far better accounts of his life can be found elsewhere. (and a very interesting story it is!)
It is mainly 'series built' boats that I try to cover, (usually 3 or more)  but I have made exceptions for designs that had a particular influence on what came afterward. Or, for others that were just seemed particularly nice, and I felt deserved special consideration.
I would be happy to register on eastcoastgaffers, but I just don't want people to think I'm trying to promote something.
