The listed displacement for the Sceptre 36 is 18,000lb which seems very high for the style and length of boat.  Yachtworld.com sales listings are currently indicating 12,000(2 ads) and 12,500 (1 ad).

 One of the ads also has a profile and layout line drawing that appears to be from an original sales brochure:

I do not know the ins and outs of copyright law in this instance but it may be usable here.


A house is but a boat so poorly built and so firmly run aground that no one would think to try and refloat it.

Thanks very much. Very helpful.  The copyright issue is one that I'd rather not go into here, but I do appreciate the warning.  Since you have simply passed this on to me for my use, I'm pretty sure that you, personally, are in the clear.
