Legendary designer Ted Brewer's double-ended ("canoe stern") cutter, the "Jason 35", was featured
among the boats described in Ferenc Mate's 1982 classic book "Best boats to Build or Buy".
Approximately 40 - 45 Jasons were built by Miller Marine at their plant, located on Bainbridge
Island, WA, U.S.A.

NEW EQUIPMENT (installed 2017):

Offshore Sails (partially battened main, hanked-on 110% genoa, 90% jib, staysail), Sunbrella sail
cover, composite propane tank, Garmin digital GPS / Chart plotter / digital HD radar, digital
fish finder / depth sounder, Standard Horizon digital DSC / VHF radio with AIS, Furuno 200 mile
offshore range weather TELEX, RayMarine tiller pilot, four 6 v.d.c. lead acid batteries ("house
bank") and one 12 v.d.c. starter battery, battery cables, high output alternator, Blue Seas ACR
dual battery bank controller, four solar panels with controller, AirX marinized 400 watt 12 vdc.
wind generator, 200 feet 3/8" galvanized anchor chain, 200 feet three strand nylon rode, large
capacity AC / DC refrigerator, Raycor fuel filter / water separator, 12 vdc. bilge pump, Whale
Gusher manual bilge pump, teak grab rails, most running rigging, aluminum radar mast, three coats
of ablative antifouling paint applied Aug. 2017.

OTHER FEATURES:

One quarter berth, two pilot berths, "V" berth. Galley table (two leafs), two settees (long
enough to serve as bunks too), Force Ten two burner, propane cook top. Hanging closets (wet and
dry), Loads of teak cabinets, cubbies, drawers, shelves. Exterior teak coamings, planking, toe
rail, rub rail. Awesome Perko cast bronze opening ports. Stainless steel Barient (2 speed sheets,
1 speed halyards) winches, club foot fitting for staysail, Simpson Lawrence Sea Tiger 555 chain /
rode manual windlesss, two Lewmar CQR anchors, stainless steel sprit and bobstay to address
weather helm, oversized bronze turnbuckles and pins, oversized stainless standing rigging wire,
stainless steel chimney / chimney cap and protective deck cage.

This sailboat is presently in dry storage.

This listing is to some extent a project boat, although it was sailed by the owner in the San
Juan Islands / Salish Sea in August - September of 2017. There are some repairable areas (approx.
12 - 15 sq. ft.) of known deck core de-lamination (cockpit, stern). Enough new core material to
make the repair is included in this listing. See the excellent chapter on cored deck delamination
repair in Don Casey's book "This Old Boat".

Needs a new headliner, head, holding tank and cabin heater.

This sailboat is listed and sold "as is, where is" (Anacortes, Washington, U.S.A.), and without
any warranty.

This sailboat is a U.S. Coast Guard ("U.S.C.G.") documented vessel. Upon completion of the
transaction the Seller will convey title to the Buyer by means of a U.S.C.G. Bill of Sale. Buyer
will be responsible for filing the Bill of Sale with the U.S.C.G. and for obtaining a new
Certificate of Documentation, in his / her name, from the U.S.C.G.
