Also called the TARTAN 37C. Sparkman & Stephens design #2253.
The first few hulls were built as a racing version (TARTAN 38) with a deep keel and tall rig. The TARTAN 37 became one the builders best selling models. Available with the deep keel and tall rig or the keel/centerboard and standard rig. Some boats were produced in the K/CB configuration but with the tall rig. But of the 486 hulls produced, the majority were the keel/ceterboard model.
Another boat based on the same design was built in England and called the CONDOR 37.
