Albin Marine

Founded in Sweden as a manufacturer of marine engines, the company built its first boat in 1929. Its first production fiberglass sailboat was built in 1966. Some of the later sailing models were actually built in Taiwan.
In 2008 the name was purchased by a US firm, a builder of powerboats.
