The Anchorage, Inc.
Founded by William J. H. Dyer, who is regarded as a pioneer in fiberglass boat construction.
The first Dyer dinghies were developed for the US Navy Bureau of Shipping.
Having great load carrying ability for it's size and light weight, many were used on PT boats and deployed for aircraft rescues.
