John Baker Ltd.

Founded by John and Pat Baker at Kenton Forge, near Exeter, UK. They began by building GRP dinghy's including the LARK, which became a popular college and club trainer. Around 1968, he teamed up with designer Angus Primrose and began building his signature Seal line (mostly lift-keel) of sailing yachts, beginning with the SEAL 22.
In 1981, John and Pat left the boat building business and sold much of their tooling to Parker Boats Ltd.
