Maxi Yachts (SWE)
Launched in 1972, Maxi Yachts went through a number of owners. After a bankruptcy in 1991, Maxi was purchased by Nimbus Boats AB. Nimbus continued to develop several new models including the 1000, 1100 and 1300.
In 1999 Nimbus partnered with Storebro and formed the Nimbus Group of which Maxi Yachts was a part.
In 2012 Maxi Yachts was purchased by Dephia Yachts
More than 16.000 boats have been produced since its founding.
All Maxi models were designed by olympic medalist Pelle Petterson.
