Ocean Shipyard was formed and took over the Discovery Yachts production facilities in Southampton, England. The company has secured the intellectual property rights and tooling related to the production of the Discovery Shipyard's boats.

The new company is headed by Steve Edwards, former managing director of Discovery Shipyard.
