Phantom Yachtbau Genzel
Founded by Reinhard Genzel. The company was formed initially to sell boats of the de Kloet shipyard to German customers.
Beginning in 1976, hulls are no longer manufactured in Hagen, but in Holland at Dekabo.
After the company folded, Genzel contines to build boats in small numbers. He founds the company "Phantom Yachten GmbH & Co KG", continues to expand the hulls delivered from Holland on a small scale. He built a few ships until his death in 1985. After his death, the North Rhine shipyard purchased the business and continued the Phantom story in small editions.
