Quincy Adams Yacht Yard
Located in Quincy, MA and founded by Fred Lawley, who was the son of George Lawley, another famous Massachusetts boat builder. Financial difficulties forced a sale to Harold Noyes and his son and Lawley was forced to resign. The yard then was renamed Quincy Adams Yacht Yard and Ralph Richmond became manager.
Many notable yachts were launched at the yard such as 'Ticonderoga', winner of many ocean races. The yard also built a number military craft during WWII.
