Sears, Roebuck & Co.
Founded by Richard Warren Sears, a railroad station agent from North Redwood, Minnesota who began by selling watches.
At one time, the largest retailer in the US.
Sears never actually manufactured sailboats.
But, at one time, you could find a sailboat in the Sears Catalogue, often comically illustrated, order it, and it would be delivered to your door!
