Swarbrick & Swarbrick
Swarbrick Bros Yachts first operated out of a small workshop in Carrington Street, Claremont until 1977 when they moved to larger premises in Osborne Park. The Swarbrick family started building yachts commercially in 1965, and were pioneers in Australia building composite yachts with the introduction of the S&S34 in 1968.The business was sold to the Bains Harding Group in 1981.
In 2020, Swarbrick and Swarbrick joined with Phil Kaiko to form GP Composites.
Today (2020) Swarbrick and Swarbrick Yachts is an international producer of composite yachts, architectural design features, sculptures, repairs and maintenance; and automobile bodies and parts.
