Per Brohäll
1917 - 1989
Swedish designer whose best known work brought the sport of yachting to a broader and less affluent clientelle. Most of his designs of the 1950's were intended for plywood construction. In the 1960's he became one the first designers in Europe to embrace the new fiberglass construction techniques.
Among his most notable designs are the VEGA and the ALBIN 25 motor cruiser, both of which were immensely popular and were produced in the thousands.
Brohäll was also the author of a number of books on small boat construction.
Some of his work is archived at the Swedish Marine Museum. (marinmuseum.se)
