Jack Holt
1912 - 1995
Jack Hold was a prolific designer (and builder) of high performance sailing dinghies during the period immediately following World War II. Most were intended for plywood contruction. He also founded a company that manufactured small boat hardware, which is still in business.
Jack Holt was awarded an OBE in 1979 for his services to sailing.
