The space is approximately
5’ wide x 36″ x 8″ deep.
At first I thought it might be storage for the table top but when I tried to put it in there it’s very difficult and I ended up scratching the table. The access to it has a double hinged panel. I also tried to Stow the cushions that make the setee turn into a double bed but they don’t fit.
