I am looking for any information that could clear up a confusion.
In the late 60’s my grandparents bought a Bristol 27 at the NY Boatshow and along with it, an 8′ sailing dinghy. I learned to sail in those two boats. I was 10 when i first soloed in the dinghy and these pictures were taken. Clearly the sail has the Dyer Dhow insignia but the builder’s plate on the transom was a metalic sticker that clearly said, in fancy font; Atlantic. Was there a builder, Atlantic contracted to make Dyer Dhow dinghies? I see nothing mentioned in the DD history from Mystic museum.
