I have not had a photo of my own for about 25 years. That Was be before electronics, at least most of them. I’m walking in a 1978 J-32. I know very little about it, and I have to move a pretty good distance. The price is reasonable. The question is it a good boat, solid and well handling. I don’t care about upscale and pretty! If anybody out there could advise me, please help.

Hello Kevin. Please double check your info. J Boats built the J/32 from 1996 – 2003.
Overall, J Boats has a solid reputation for boat building. That said, over the years, bad things can happen. In our opinion, the only way to be sure the boat in question is worth buying is to have it surveyed.
