Hi, love the forum idea!

Humble suggestions of an ex developer:

• that there be a link on the navigation heading/bar of the forum back to the site and vice versa (perhaps two on each, one to open in the same window, one in a new window?)

… Just wanting to be helpful for usability.

Well we are halfway there. We have a link on the site which opens the Forum in a new tab. To be honest, it never occurred to us to have a link from the Forum to the site. Ugh.

Good idea. It won’t be a quick fix but it will happen.
