Went out on a catamaran (Hobie) for the first time last week in Miami. Couldn’t believe how wet it was. Interesting to see the Maine Cat 22 has a solid bridge deck to keep things hopefully drier. Where in CT?

Niantic. Last October the mooring broke during a storm and my Hobie Sport Cruiser 21 was smashed to pieces. Total loss! I had a 16 for forty years and then the 21 for nine years. The Maine Cat weighs in at 1750 pounds. The 16 was 300 and the 21 was 600. We wanted dryer sailing at this point so we’ll see.
