I recently had an inspection by the Canadian Cost Guard Auxiliary and was asked what was the maximum number of passengers my CS 27 was permitted to have on board (1978 CS 27).  Apparently, there should have been a plaque affixed in the cabin which would state that number.  Anyone has that information?

I do not live in Canada but from what I can tell, your boat is required to have a builder’s compliance sticker affirming the the boat was built to Canadian small vessel regulations, but only vessels under 6m (19’8″) are required to include:

• what motor sizes are safe (outboard powered vessels only);
• how many people can be on board; and
• how much weight the boat can hold.
