Good day! I recently purchased a 1990 Tayana 52 aft cockpit and need to do significant engine servicing to include oil cooler inspection/removal, hose and belt replacement. Recognizing that the engine compartment is very constrained, we are considering opening up both the port and starboard bulkheads around the engine compartment. The question here is whether there is sufficient structural support in the frame to open the panels or does the frame require reinforcement?
