I couldn’t find any information on the mast height of the Van De Stadt Excalibur 36. I own one, so decided to climb the mast myself and take some measurements. I hope this helps other Excalibur 36 owners.

From the deck, I found the mast height to be 13 metres or 42ft 6 inches. From the water line I measured a further 4ft 2 inches, giving a total above water of 46ft 8 inches. Add to this whatever is mounted at the top of the mast. In my case another 3ft to take into account the tri-colour light and the VHF aerial, thus a total of 49ft 8 inches. For good measure make it 50ft or 15.24 metres. I am almost certain I still have the original mast on my boat.
