I sailed a Nimrod 18 many years ago and enjoyed every minute of it. She was a fine, stiff and safe sailing craft designed by Ian Proctor. I am now in my mid-eighties and I am out of the sailing business except for occasionally racing model sail boats (about 1 meter in length).
I would love to build a scale model of the Nimrod for display in my office and I would like it to be as close to the original as possible.
Does anyone have any idea of where I might obtain cross sectional views of the boat with the internal framing and hull profile shown so that I can scale these to fabricate my approximately 400mm long model Nimrod 18?
Thanks ahead of time.
