The actual plans for this yacht, as well as many others attributed to the Croninshield firm, were completed by R. N. Burbank, an employee at the time.

Some boats were delivered with a masthead rig.

‘Spartan’, thought to be the only surviving NEW YORK YC 50, was completely restored in 2010.

S&S design #1497-C. A keel version of the DOLPHIN 24 et all(S&S #1497). Later a modified verson became the FALCON 24, also built in New Zealand.

Seen mostly in Australia. Designed for amature builder but also built by professionals.
