Description

Built to Lloyds A1 specification in 1970 from cold moulded, double-diagonal mahogany ply on Scottish oak frames. Skinned with clear epoxy for ease of maintenance.
Very stiff and dry boat even in a big seaway.
Aluminium mast and boom with roller furler headsail (130%) and main, both in good condition. Spinnaker with sock for ease of handling
CQR anchor and 30 m chain. Large forehatch to get spinnaker snuffer through.
All halyards led back to cockpit. 6 winches.
Massive rear locker with 100w solar panel and some additional storage under cockpit sole.
Anchor chain well in bows then a separate compartment for the spinnaker. Heads with 2 storage locker spaces either side. Original 70's vanity curtain! 2 side berths with fiddled storage behind and lockers underneath for storage of anything waterproof. These berths convert into a double with timber inserts and there are two longer berths aft which go under the cockpit seats.
Large chart table on starboard side with large drawer under. Spirit double stove on port side with sink. Foot-pumped water system not in use.Storage compartments for food and cleaning materials. Teak cabin sole.
Full standing headroom in main cabin.
Engine access hatch under steps down into cabin.
Lighting to all areas from 2 fairly new 12v batteries, charging from 100w solar panel and shore powered charging system as well as alternator feed when engine running
