Loosely based on Charles MacGregor’s SABOT as published in Rudder magazine in 1939. (originally the BALBOA DINGHY).
(The small, pram type dinghy is said to have originated in Norway.)
Similar to the NAPLES SABOT but with a daggerboard. One-Design racing fleets existed for few years during the 1970’s.

Same hull as the LASER and LASER RADIAL, but with a smaller sail plan making it more manageable for lighter sailors (under 125 lbs.).

The BOMBARIDER INVITATION is a sailing dinghy with an obvious similarity to the LASER (INTERNATIONAL).
A Canadian trademark was applied for in 1973, granted in 1974 and expunged (failure to renew) in 1990. Thanks to Adam Hunt for supplying clarification about this and the photo.
