Similar to the standard ISLANDER 24 but with a flush/raised deck. Evidently, the plug had "v" planking which gave the boat the look of a wooden boat which became an early Islander trademark. The Bahama proved to be far more popular so that production of the trunk cabin version was soon discontinued.
