The first 25 boats were built for members of Eastern YC, Marblehead, MA. Also called the MARBLEHAED ONE DESIGN. Most were sold away after just a few seasons. The majority ended up in Northwest Harbor ME, where a racing fleet developed after WWI. The class was renamed NORTHEAST HARBOR A in 1921 and another 25 were built by Rice Brothers of East Boothbay, ME (1924-1928)dc rev. 1/11)
