Notes

(From class association website.)
The original design from Alfred Westmacott in 1909, was gaff rigged with a centerboard.
Fleets exist in five locations around the Solent:
Hamble • Itchenor • Lymington • Poole/Parkstone • Yarmouth

The class is managed by the membership through the Class Association and is strictly one design. Over the years it has achieved a balance between adopting modern rigs and building techniques whilst ensuring the oldest boats remain competitive. A few boats have been built as recently as 1994.
