I picked this boat up. The owner called it a Nautilus 14. The plaque is faded but reads “American Fiberglass Corporation” Model KF (maybe KP).

Previous owner said it was acquired in the 70s. I contacted American Sail and they insisted (quite abruptly) the the American 14-6 was developed from scratch in the 1980s and was not a copy of another boat.

    Any help would be appreciated!

It looks like a Kingfisher 12, but it is definitely 14 feet long and has moulded seats.

We don’t have a great photo but we’re thinking it’s a NEPTUNE 14 (NOT NAUTILUS) from American Fiberglass. https://sailboatdata.com/sailboat/neptune-14/

Thank you. After looking at the few pictures online, you are definitely correct. Mine has the open centerboard trunk, so I imagine it’s an earlier model. It also has adjustable jib stays, but those look like they might have been added.

    I appreciate your help.
