Bayfield Boat Yard Ltd. (CAN)
Bayfield Boat Yard was founded by Ted Gozzard and originally located in the village of Bayfield, southern Ontario. It became one of the largest sailboat manufacturers in Canada. At its peak it employed 65 full time employees and moved to a larger facility 20 miles away in Clinton Ontario. Ted left the company in 1981 to found his own builder, Gozzard Yachts.
Bayfield Boat Yard was closed in 1988 after a fire destroyed the factory.
