Launched in 1984, Catana is a company dedicated to the construction of fiberglass composite cruising catamarans.
Olivier Poncin formed the PONCIN YACHTS Group in 2001 and launched the Poncin line (2001-2004).
He takes over Catana in 2003.
Next he launches Harmony Yachts in 2005 (and built until 2011).
Poncin Group became the CATANA Group in 2014 to coincide with the 30th anniversary of “CATANA Catamarans”. CATANA Group extended the range with the launch in 2014 of “BALI Catamarans” (https://www.bali-catamarans.com), more accessible in terms of price, therefore aimed at a wider clientele.
