Chris-Craft, one of the oldest names in the American powerboat industry, had a relatively short run with sailboats. (1962 to 1976)
(Well known sailor Cornelius Shields was a majority shareholder at the time. )
All the sailing models were built of fiberglass at their Algonac, Michigan facility and designed by Sparkman & Stephens.
Still in business as a manufacturer of power boats.
