Leisure Yachts

Leisure Yachts were built in the United Kingdom by Cobramold Ltd (in the later years Brinecraft Ltd) from 1975 through to 1990 when factory experienced a major fire that destroyed, or seriously damaged much of the original tooling. After this, production moved to Germany using newly built or repaired molds. For a time, a few 17SL's were produced in Greece. Later the moulds were returned to Germany where the 17SL was produced only by special order.

Another company, Cory Yachts International Ltd., continued with the Leisure brand, with some entirly new designs. It's unknown how many of these have been built.

The original Leisure yachts built approximately 3000 boats, the majority of which were sold in the UK, with a few built for the European market, particularly Holland and Germany.
