Sydney Yachts/Bashford Int.

The late Ian Bashford founded Bashford Boats (now known as Sydney Yachts) in the early 1980’s.
The company produced one design yachts such as the J-24 and the ETCHELLS 22.

The early 1990’s brought the launch of the new larger BH Boats. The first yacht off the drawing board and into production was the Sydney 41.

The BH 36 was introduced some time later.
Following the death of Ian Bashford in April 1996, Charles Curran and Iain Murray joined the company. The comapny became Bashford International and the new line was called Sydney Yachts.

Since, late 1996 the company has expanded its range to include the SYDNEY 38 and, SYDNEY 32 among others. Other recent designs are the SIGNATURE 39 and SIGNATURE 47.

Since 2013 Sydney Yachts are built at AD Boats in Croatia.
