Originally Mathis Yacht Building Company located near Camden NJ, USA. Best known for its house boats and power yachts for wealthy clients but also builder of commercial and military vessels as well as a few custom sailing yachts.
John Trumpy (1881-1963), a trained naval architect, became sole owner in 1939 and the name was changed in 1943.
The yard moved to Annapolis, MD in 1947 and was destroyed by fire in 1962. The company went Out of business in 1974.
