John Spencer
1931 - 1996
Though born in Australia, John Spencer spent most of his life in New Zealand. A designer of high performance dinghies and larger, ocean racing yachts. One of the best known of the latter was the light displacement, hard chined 52' 'Infidel', winner of many long distance races in Australia, and later, as 'Ragtime' in the US.
