Winthrop Warner
1900 - 1987
Winthrop Warner was an American designer of both yachts and commercial vessels.
A native of Connecticut, he was educated at MIT in Naval Architecture. Warner worked at a number of well known firms, (John Alden, William Hand, Phillip Rhodes) before opening his own office in 1929. His work can be seen in the Winthrop L. Warner Collection at Mystic Seaport.(USA)
