Hull and decks – Carbon/ Kevlar foam core
Keel and rudder – Carbon fibre construction for both keel & rudder, with lead bulb
Spars – Carbon fiber mast with aluminum boom.
2 man keel boat with 1 trapeze allowed.
Olympic class in 1972, 1976.
The HENDERSON 30 features a masthead spinnaker with retractable, articulating sprit(prod), and a retractable outboard housing.
AKA ULTIMATE 27.
Retractable keel, removable rudder, articulating sprit. Replaced by the MELGES 32.
Inboard aux. power available as an option.
Initially built by designer (2 boats?). Tooling sold to C&C Yachts.
