-Main: 180 ft² / 16.72 m²
-Jib: 149 ft² / 13.84 m²
A few (17) were delivered with a fixed keel and masthead rig. (See S2 7.9FK for specs.)
Inboard power available as an option… BMW 7.5 hp diesel.
This Drop keel version was the first SANTANA 23 (usually referred to as SANTANA 23 D).
Dagger/keel weight: 170 lbs.
A fixed keel version, SANTANA 23 K, appeared somewhat later.
Designed to the MORC rule. (Prototype was called ‘Toy’.)
