The FREE SPIRIT is similar to the IRWIN MINI-TON but with a smaller rig.

An early wooden version of this design has been mentioned in varioius periodicals but the details have been difficult to find.
A Canadian built fiberglass versions came much later, (1979?) of which not many were built.

Similar to DEHLER 22. ‘DEHLYA’ was the name chosen to denote Dehler’s owner-completion boats.
Retractable keel and rudder with water ballast though a fixed keel version was also available.

The SANDPIPER 565 was first manufactured in 1972 by Sandpiper Marine Ltd. of Southampton, England. Later built by CL Sailboats (formerly C&L Boatworks) of Canada. (Royalties not paid)
Another version was built under license in Sweden called OCKELBO OS 19.

Vagabond Sailboats built 128 of the HOLDER 20’s until the molds where sold to Coast Catamaran Corporation (Hobie Cat). Hobie Cat continued to build the Holder 20 until 1987 (Hull # 265).
